Have you noticed that I tend to really, really like organic products these days? You may have. Most of the reviews and giveaways that I host on my website when it comes to personal care products are organic or, at the very least, all natural.
I am just a huge fan of not only the environment (haha), but also using natural products on my body. We only have one life to live, so why shorten it or compromise it with unnecessary chemicals?
So that’s where I’m coming from.
When Lafes emailed me about their organic, all natural product line I of course had to jump on the opportunity to trial and give away their products.
Lafes is a North American company that started with just deodorants, but has expanded to all sorts of products; lip balms, hair care, body care, even baby products. One percent of product sales at Lafes goes toward breast cancer prevention and awareness, which is a great cause. I love to get behind companies that are socially responsible.
Here’s what we’re giving away:
Lafes Baby Lotion
This is a super gentle formula made with olive and sunflower oils and hemp. It’s in a “baby safe” plastic packaging, and is certified organic.
I don’t have a baby, but that doesn’t mean that I can’t use baby lotion. I’ve mentioned before that I have super sensitive skin, so I actually prefer the scent-free baby lotion formula.
That’s another bonus about the Lafes products that we’re giving away – they’re scent free. Great for the office. I know my office bans scents.
Lafes Roll On Unscented Deodorant
Once again, this is an all natural, unscented product which is quick drying and doesn’t leave white marks on your dark clothing if you apply before getting dressed.
What I like the most about this product is that it doesn’t feel chalky under my arms.
Lafes Unscented Lip Balm
J actually uses this product because it’s unscented, not tinted, and therefore he sees it as gender neutral. I’d have to agree with him. It’s great to put on before bed, and I love that it’s all natural.
Lip balm is ingested more often than not, and ingesting chemical products is a scary though.

I like natural products because my skin is super sensitive as it is, and I hate the thought of any extra and unnecessary chemicals being soaked into my system.

Everything that goes on my skin needs to be natural.. I hate chemicals!
I like natural organic products because harsh chemicals are bad for your body and the environment.
I love them because they are kinder to sensitive skin.
I have sensitive skin so it’s nice to use products that are natural!
b/c they’re safer for my body
I am a chemistry major and I understand the effects of synthetics over time, I prefer to use organic substances on my skin.
We are surrounded by chemicals and having products without them is great!!! We really should only put natural products on our skin.
