It’s a long weekend here in Canada, and I’m going away to the Oregon coast for some R&R with the boyfriend, sans the dog.
I’m excited.
As this post is being posted, I am probably driving to Oregon.
I had a lazy week this week and didn’t really comment on many posts. I read a lot, but slacked off on commenting and networking. Posting, even. So, this week’s link love is going to be quick and dirty. There were a thousand other good posts this week, but I’m on vacation so off the top of my head, these are posts I really enjoyed!
Posts I loved this week
Erika wrote about when a recipe for success fails. It’s a really interesting post.
She also wrote a post about how you know whether you’re a shopaholic. It made me laugh but also nod, because I definitely went through a stage where all of these would be checkmarks!
Anthony at the Joyful Self Manager wrote about likable human attributes – an interesting post.
Prairie Eco Thrifter has a post up about how “buying green” is not always eco friendly. There’s a lot of great points in this post, especially for somebody who is always trying to reduce her carbon footprint!
Sydney at Untemplater writes about having a healthy partnership for the long term.
My Money Design encourages us to embrace that we are in sales. I can’t even count how many times I’ve been told in school that it’s super important to be able to convince somebody of something!
Jana at Daily Money Shot wrote about letting go of her guilt. It’s a great post and I could definitely relate. I’m always guilty about what I’m doing, even if I’m doing what I’m supposed to do.

Have an awesome time on your road trip Daisy! I’ve been meaning to take a trip down there sometime too. It sounds like it’s a beautiful place to check out.
A nice road trip is just what you need, Daisy. You’ve been burning the candle at both ends, and some R&R is just what the doctor ordered.
Like you, I’ve also had a lazy week. Although, I posted and commented, my heart and soul just wasn’t into it, and as a result, I couldn’t get myself going for the past few days. If I didn’t comment on your posts this week, please don’t take it personally. It was just a bad week, and a few of my favorite bloggers just didn’t get their well-deserved comment love.
In any case, have a lovely trip, and try to get a lot of rest. And, thank you for the blog post inclusion. It put a big smile on my mug.
Thank you for the link love!
Thanks so much for the mention! Have a great trip…no guilt allowed
So glad you decided to drive down to Oregon and avoid the train. Let me know how long the drive takes, I’ve heard 5-6 hours? Have fun!
Thanks for the mention Daisy! That sounds like an awesome vacation for a nice long weekend. We get a long weekend next week in the States so I’m looking forward to that. One extra day makes a big difference!
I haven’t been to Oregon yet and definitely hope to someday, too bad I hate to drive lol. Have a great time! -Sydney
Hope you had a great trip. Thanks a bunch for the inclusion. I spent my weekend in the yard.
