I get a ton of telemarketer calls despite being on the Do Not Call registry. Having done a touch of telemarketing in my life, I try not to be rude or annoy them (they are human beings just trying to make a living), but I do quickly ask them to remove me from their list and I block repeat offenders. And if they’re scams, like the “Global IT Center” telling me I have a virus on my computer, then all bets are off (I usually tell them I don’t have a computer and listen to them stammer or try to convince me otherwise).
