We’re not planning on needing the money, since we already have an emergency fund, but it will be nice to have for retirement or something of that nature.

I know, my stomach always drops when I see the CRA envelopes. They have made so many errors on processing this and that and it has resulted in a lot of hassle – they’ll send me a cheque, then they will send me a letter requesting a payment, then send me a cheque.. so on and so forth. It’s crazy making.

We are going to increase our payments by the $40 that we are “saving” on property taxes. You’re right, we’ll never notice it but it is a nice amount each year.
