If you don't mind paying for convenience, then it's totally worthwhile and can make your morning a lot easier. I work from home, so brewing at home is easy and a nice break in the morning routine.

I almost always buy my coffee out and I even have a coffee pot at home! For me, I’m really just paying for the convenience of having the cafe’ at my work prepare my morning coffee when I’m already frazzled in the mornings. However, if I’m going to be at home all day (working/relaxing), I’ll totally make my own coffee and save the time, gas, and energy to go get coffee.

In reply to Money Beagle. I think coffee at Costco is one of the best deals there. There's almost always a short line when I use Costco's coffee grinder, which adds to the savings.

I buy coffee at Costco, which I think is a touch better quality than Folgers or the equivilent. I also buy my own half and half. That works out to $0.25 per day give or take, last time I ran the numbers, which yields me three cups per day, exactly what I need. You simply can’t beat that deal and it’s coffee I really enjoy.
