That’s why my daughter has expensive one every other year so that we have much time to save for it. There are really ways to spend less on party, we just have to find a why like having only family or inviting close friends of my daughter.

They each had a 1st with just family and a 5th with their friends. I was ok with taking a bunch of kids to paint pottery (no goodie bags needed!) for a couple hundred because we don’t do it every year and I much rather not have to spend an entire weekend cleaning before and after!
