If they deduct an amount from the person’s expected pay because they anticipate that customers will tip, then I’ll fill in that gap. If not, then I’m less likely to.

I’ve mentioned so many times that I think the system of tipping is a bad one — puts unnecessary worry in the hands of employees and customer
