I do pay for a rewards card, but I have to travel for work which really makes up for it in the additional extra points when I spend >10k/year on travel

I have a one year old right now but when my wife and I feel comfortable with him not running up and down the plane screaming we plan to travel the world. I definitely plan to use points in order to travel hack and really appreciate your insight with credit cards. Thanks for sharing!!!

I’d stick to my one credit card and wouldn’t get another one, and grabbing its offers will still depend on my needs. Probably I’d get another one if the rewards and services are greater, but I’d have to cut the previous card.

One thing I’ll never do is pay for a rewards card. I know that you can often get a better reward rate and eventually ‘make back’ the money you put in, but I still won’t do it. There are too many companies out there that will appreciate my business.
