If you\u2019re throwing a shindig for your hard workers, there are few things you need to know when booking.<\/p>\n<h3>Expenses<\/h3>\n<p>Did you know that while you\u2019re all having fun on your work \u2018do\u2019 you could be <a href=\"http:\/\/suburbanfinance.com\/how-to-not-pay-taxes\/\" target=\"_blank\">reclaiming the cost as expenses<\/a>? The sorts of things you can claim for include: food and drink, accommodation, theatre and event tickets, gifts and use of capital assets.<\/p>\n<p>You can also reclaim any VAT you pay for your party, as long as you\u2019re entertaining staff; business entertaining doesn\u2019t count. If it\u2019s a mixed group, for example employees and their partners, you can only claim for your employees.<\/p>\n<h3>Get rewarded<\/h3>\n<p>Whatever the reason you\u2019ve decided to splash out on entertaining your employees,<a href=\"http:\/\/add-vodka.com\/using-your-credit-car\/\" target=\"_blank\"> it\u2019s worth using your credit card<\/a>. You\u2019ll be able to have fun out with your staff, reclaim tax and get rewarded for your spending.<\/p>\n<p>As long as you have a rewards card, every time you spend on your business credit card you will be earning cashback or loyalty rewards. Once you have enough points you can exchange them for gifts or air miles.<\/p>\n<h3>Purchase protection<\/h3>\n<p>By paying with a credit card, not only will you be able to earn \u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/amexforbusiness.ca\/en\/carddetails\/cards\/small-business-gold-card\">business card rewards<\/a>,\u00a0but you could also benefit from additional purchase protection.<\/p>\n<p>No doubt you\u2019ve heard of <a href=\"http:\/\/www.consumerwiki.co.uk\/index.php\/Consumer_Credit_Act:Section_75\" target=\"_blank\">Section 75<\/a>, but that only applies to consumers, not business customers.
