Friday Faves: Income Tax Edition

It’s time for another edition of our Friday Faves. This week we’ve got some great posts all focused on income taxes.

It’s that time of year when all of us are finding out if we owe, if we’re getting a refund, and even better, we are planning what to change for 2015 so we can end up where we want when it comes to taxes.

We also wanted to let you know that in an effort to bring you more great content, Add Vodka is adding posts from other personal finance websites. This week we started with a post from Credit.com about how to never do your own taxes again.

Credit.com is one of our favorite sites, and we thought the taxes post was worth sharing here. We’ll be running a post each week from a personal finance site we love, so check back for a weekly look at some of the best stuff in personal finance from somewhere other than Add Vodka.

We’re also syndicating our original stories elsewhere, so you may see some of our stories at other sites you visit. A TV station in North Carolina recently picked up our story on making coffee at home and saving money.

One of the goals for Add Vodka this year under its new ownership is to increase the amount of original reporting in its posts. Not only will we bring you stories from our lives in dealing with money, but we’ll talk to other people about their finances and will get expert advice on personal finance topics we cover. We hope that using syndicated stories from other PF sites will help us meet that goal and give readers a wider range of topics.

Additonally, this week we wanted to let you know about a giveaway going on where you can win 8 bestselling books about personal finance. To find out more, check it out here.
