Those who start vaping young are likely to be lifelong vapers. Vaping for teens is in many ways much worse than smoking cigarettes. It is a highly addictive substance which causes young smokers to have difficulty quitting as adults. Vaping is an almost “cult” activity among teens, and it keeps them from being successful in life by making it harder to do well in school and socially. 

Some E-cigarettes have a smell that’s hard to resist. You inhale it, and a cloud of vapour leaves your mouth as you exhale. Vaping has become so popular among young people that the Food and Drug Administration recently announced it would begin considering how to regulate the industry. The fact is, that excessive vaping can be a gateway to other addictive behaviours.

Vaping is a popular target nowadays for teens. It sounds fantastic and trendy among them until vaping turns into more dangerous addiction: cigarettes. A lot of teens are starting to vape to quit smoking. This is a logical idea, but it doesn’t work that well. It’s hard for teenagers to stop smoking if they have never smoked before. Vaping is giving young people a false impression of the dangers of tobacco products, making it easier for them to start and more challenging to quit once they become hooked.

Not only does nicotine affect the heart, but it can also alter brain chemistry. Nicotine triggers neurotransmitters and releases acetylcholine, serotonin, and dopamine. These chemicals stimulate alertness and pleasure and are associated with relaxation and calming fears.

E-cigarettes are gaining popularity at an alarming rate. It is often difficult to decipher between the pleasures of smoking and the dangers of vaping, as well as understand which is more suited to your health. Vaping is an e-device that vaporises nicotine, which it sends directly into the lungs. To protect your organs from unwanted risks, it is vital to know how vaping affects the body. However, vaping completely damages the lungs as the inhaling process is not safe for the lungs.

Young people are particularly vulnerable to the harmful effects of nicotine, which can cause addiction and have lasting consequences on brain development. With so much at stake, we must prevent our children from smoking before they are tempted by tobacco products’ casual use or glamorisation. Moreover, it damages certain brain parts, making it difficult for the person to recover.

How to know if a teen is addicted to Vaping?

Since vapes were introduced to the market, their use has been on the rise among all demographics. Because the products are a popular alternative to traditional cigarettes or other tobacco products, they can be easily obtained online or in speciality stores. Although considered safer than conventional cigarettes, there is no scientific proof that these devices are secure.

The symptoms of vaping come on in two stages. The first stage involves shortness of breath or coughing, which usually last only a few days before going away. The second stage involves more intense symptoms ranging from mild to severe. These can include long-term fatigue, chest tightness, muscle weakness, loss of vision, and the inability to speak above a whisper. Young people can die from vaping without entering the symptoms’ first stage.

Role of Parents in stopping their child from Vaping

As you may have noticed in recent years, e-cigarettes are increasingly being used as a popular trend among youth. Among Middle and High school students, over 40 per cent of 12th and 16 per cent of 8th graders report having used an e-cigarette. It’s essential to talk with your child about the popular kids who are vaping. 

When Vape Products Manufacturers need to market their vaping products, they target young people and make them feel like the most fantastic kids on the planet when they vape. They use ads on social media and in magazines, as well as music videos and TV shows, to reach their audience of young people.

Schools need to talk to students and parents as early as possible about tobacco, e-cigarettes and other alternatives such as ‘dip’, dissolvable tobacco, etc. Although many schools talk about this briefly in a health class, it may be too late for some children by that point.For others, the real risk of becoming addicted starts when they are much younger than teenagers.
